Description: Working under moderate supervision, performs ultrasound exams, on patients ranging in age from neonate through geriatric, using sonographic procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed practitioner while maintaining the standards of ethics for radiologic technologists. Must be a graduate of a formal educational program acceptable to the ARRT or ARDMS; certified or eligible for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; licensed or eligible for Indiana State license; basic understanding of the related behaviors and needs appropriate to age (neonate through geriatric); certified in CPR; able to push/pull a wide range of weights up to and over 100 pounds; able to stand, walk, stoop, squat, sit bend, reach, kneel; able to concentrate with interruption; able to focus for extended periods of time; understands theories and concepts related to sonographer; able to remember assignments and tasks; has the ability to assess problems related to duties and make independent judgments within the framework of established policies and procedures.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
