Engineering Manager
Manages activities related to engineering projects to define, develop and grow various technologies. Manages and coordinates the work of an Engineering staff, concentrating on assigned technologies or projects, with particular emphasis on the objective of developing and expanding corporate technical knowledge through process, material and electronic development, experimentation and documentation.
Define, develop and grow the technical knowledge through process, material, electrical and/or optical development.
Prove, validate, summarize and document new technologies for incorporation into manufacturing, design and product launch bookshelf capabilities.
Recommends and drives continuous improvement through efficient utilization of New Technology Introduction.
Support manufacturing in the development of new processes.
Aid in the resolution of repeated and systemic quality issues.
Provides leadership role to corresponding engineering team to assure critical project parameters meet corporate requirements.
Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of technologies related to competitive product lines, processes, materials and supply base.
Proposes and drive new technology concepts.
Resolves technical roadblocks to assure project goals are met.
Manages workload for assigned personnel.
Recommends and drives continuous improvement through efficient utilization of New Product Introduction.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
