is looking for a Supplier Project Management Specialist to provide technical expertise and leadership in the development of suppliers and new project preparations.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product timing, quality, capacity, and fulfillment Support new product launches by working with suppliers, driving Advanced Planning, Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE), ensuring compliance with established standards, and key milestones are achieved Complete supplier audits to enhance process standardization and waste elimination Communicate and coach the supply base Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering departments to drive cost effective improvements to Quality and Manufacturing processes, minimizing waste Participate in process validation and equipment qualification activities, ensuring that suppliers systems, processes, and build capabilities meet the design intent of the customer Provide leadership during investigations of major problems, disruptions, and/or special projects Evaluate supplier data to initiate process improvement opportunities along the supply chain Coordinate with internal departments on supplier performance Criteria:
Excellent project management and communication skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Possess a positive attitude and be a motivated self-starter Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business OR 5 years manufacturing engineering or quality experience.
